Description
As the FinOps Controller at Tillo you'll look after a finance team focused on delivering excellent
service to customers, suppliers, and business stakeholders. You will ensure the highest
operational quality while developing and maintaining first-class operations and controls as
the business expands internationally.

We're looking for a proactive individual who will oversee and optimise processes for critical customer and supplier ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies. You'll be able to really make an impact in this role, taking full ownership of the function and driving it forward.
We’re the market leader in the UK and are active in a number of other markets including Europe, Australia and India. This year we will continue to expand our presence in the US as well as setting up operations in new countries
If successful, you will
* Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, including major UK & US retailers and international gift card providers, to ensure smooth operations and
favourable terms.
* Oversee and optimise the reconciliation process for critical customer and supplier
ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
* Implement and maintain robust systems to ensure sales and purchase ledgers are
consistently reconciled and up-to-date.
* Lead and optimise the finance teams communication channels, including email
management, to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong
stakeholder relationships.
* Generate and present comprehensive management reports on key performance
indicators, project statuses, and operational metrics to senior leadership, focusing on
accounts receivable, accounts payable, and overall financial operations.
* Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development.
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and reporting.
* Drive continuous improvement in financial operations through technology and best
practices.
About you
You're a proven leader with experience developing a team. To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Excellent supplier and stakeholder relationship management skills
* Advanced financial reconciliation and problem-solving capabilities
* Proficiency in business unit reporting and KPI analysis
* Expertise in sales and purchase ledger management
* Strong project management skills for effective onboarding processes
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial operations
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software systems
* Effective credit control and cash flow management abilities
* Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
And although it's not essential, w'd love to hear about it if you have:
* Experience within a fintech, high growth environment
* A professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
