Widener University is currently seeking an Admissions Support Specialist in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Reporting to Admissions Systems Administrator, and in cooperation with the Executive Director of Admissions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to) : Essential duties: Processes applicant paperwork including applications, transcripts and other related material (first year, transfer, international) through the admissions and initial enrollment processes, moving prospects to applicants, applicants to completion and admission, and admission to initial enrollment Run and monitor audit reports to ensure accurate data in CRM Responds to applicant and family inquiries related to application status and issues Monitor reader review bins in CRM Print additional external mailings Answer phones, pen and distribute/scan mail, provide general support to the systems administrator as necessary Ensure accurate and efficient workflows and consolidate record processes in CRM Process immigration documentation for international students related to applications and enrollment Perform other job-related duties as assigned or directed Secondary responsibilities: Serve as back up to the Campus Visit Coordinator including phone and visitor welcoming in the Undergraduate Admissions lobby as needed. Provide application support on front and back end MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (education/training and experience required) : Required: High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a clerical or support function role with heavy emphasis on data entry Superior oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Experience with data entry, data processing and review of work Experience in an office environment including answering phones and in-person contact Preferred: Experience in a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system Experience in contributing to a climate of inclusivity and working with a diverse student body Bilingual abilities are a plus with a strong preference for fluency in Spanish, Experience with facilitating presentations PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND/OR UNUSUAL HOURS: This position is a fully in person position. Remote work is not available. Must be able to sit and work on a computer for 2 hours minimum at a time. Must be able to stand and move between buildings.
