We have an exciting opportunity to join our Supported Living team, who support people with learning disabilities to live independent, fulfilling lives.
We believe that people want to work in social care to make a positive difference in people’s lives. We also believe that work should be fun – we spend too much time doing it for it not to be. Our business is our people and to allow people to do the best possible in their job, we believe in a person-centred and flexible approach.
If you believe that too, then maybe we should get to know each other better?
About you
You’ll be a flexible person with a can-do attitude. You’ll have the ability to develop appropriate relationships with people and to provide support that makes a positive difference. Experience of managing a team of staff and adapting to get the most out of everyone is a must and you will take pride in delivering quality services.
We want someone with the right attitude and values who shares our purpose; someone who will fit into our team and enhance it even more.
No one will meet every single desired qualification. If your experience looks a little different from what we're saying and you think you can bring value to the role, we'd love to learn more about you!
About the role
You will be managing the quality and safety of a number of supported living services for adults with learning disabilities in the Bury area, alongside an operational support officer and a team of support workers. You will be supported by the deputy manager and the registered manager of the service; you will also support our out of hours, on-call service on a rota basis.
Further information about the role can be found in the job description.
In return for your contribution we will support you throughout your career - we provide a wide range of employee benefits, career development and lifestyle support services to ensure that you too feel supported, fulfilled and valued from day one of your employment with us.
Persona is committed to being an inclusive employer and recognises the value of having a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve. Where possible, we will support employees to work flexibly or with adjustments, so that they can perform to their best ability. We are committed to providing a working environment where all employees are treated with dignity and respect, and where individual skills and life experiences are valued.
Please note: Satisfactory disclosure at the appropriate level under the Disclosure and Barring Service is required prior to appointment.
