Position Overview: The FP&A Analyst, Europe, will play a key part in developing and managing various business models and providing monthly and quarterly reporting for senior management in Europe. This role will contribute to the definition of the European FP&A function and add value to European and global businesses. Key Responsibilities: Budgeting and Forecasting Prepare the annual budget for the European group through interaction with European senior management and manage the budget process. Prepare and develop the budget to actual variance reports and trends and KPI analysis on a monthly basis for European senior management. Manage the monthly r e forecast for the European business. Contribute to the global corporate earnings model and i nternational f inancial m odel from a European perspective when required. Prepare ad hoc sensitivity / scenario analysis when required. Cash Flow Management Support Treasury in mode l ling cash flow for the European group and any ad-hoc requests. O rganisational Relationsh ips Frequently working with European department heads to prepare budget/forecast and analyse monthly variances. Frequently working with the Head of FP&A and Transactions on acquisition forecasting and ad hoc analysis. Frequently working with the European Asset Management and Property Management teams on re-lease/disposition forecasting for revenue and property cost forecasting. Other Involvement in the evolution of the European FP&A function and outputs including standardising and improving reporting, streamlining processes to gain efficiencies, maintaining sound internal controls, and participation in the exploration and implementation of software solutions, as necessary. Special projects, as needed, including formally documenting the conclusions of management, with the review and approval of European senior finance management. Perform other duties as assigned. Candidate R equire ments Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities M ust hav e for the role : Fully qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) or equivalent work experience. Previous suitable experience working in e ither : the real estate / property in dustry ( Investments or Funds) working within FP&A. OR a Transaction Services team at a Big 4 accounting practice F inancial model l ing experience with e xcellent Excel skills (including but not limited to VLOOKUPs, complex/compound equations, logical equations, macros, pivot tables and the ability to understand/build/edit complex financial models) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet public company reporting deadlines. Strong financial acumen; familiar with all the European group’s key financial statements including an appreciation for the differences in European jurisdictions. Strong oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to large groups and senior levels of management. Ability to adapt to ever-changing requirements and creatively solve problems effectively and efficiently with a high degree of accuracy. Desirable but not essential: R eal estate industry experience. Yardi general ledger software experience. Adaptive Insights budgeting software experience.
