Operations Director – Norse South East
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000
Norse South East is a highly successful Joint venture contract working in partnership with Havant Borough Council. NSE specialise in providing frontline services including grounds maintenance, waste and street scene services throughout Havant and the surrounding areas.
We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic, forward-thinking Operations Director to join the organisation based at our offices in Havant, Penner Road.
As Operations Director, you will play an integral role in developing and driving business growth for Norse South East and leading and directing the commercial strategy, contractual performance and operational delivery of the Norse South East joint venture.
The Role:
1. Develop and maintain key relationships with stakeholders.
2. Drive business growth and ensure client and customer satisfaction is achieved to a high level.
3. Lead, manage, and direct senior and middle line managers - ensuring all staff operate within Norse human resources procedures.
4. Prepare detailed annual budgets, business forecasts and annual financial plans based on current contracts and anticipated business growth.
5. Ensure contractual obligations and statutory requirements are met within time and budget.
6. Lead on Health and Safety developing a positive health and safety culture, ensure all staff are up to date on regulations and operational staff are trained to industry standard at all times.
About You:
You will have previous experience working at a Senior Management / Director level within a complex business and ideally have a background in grounds and/or waste management. Alongside this you will be able to demonstrate:
1. Extensive senior management experience including commercial and financial responsibility and strategic business planning.
2. Experience in a multi-function service environment.
3. Articulate communicator with excellent written and oral skills. Confident liaising with decision makers at all levels with strong networking and negotiating skills.
4. Knowledge of delivering frontline services both private and public sector.
Our Offer
In exchange for your experience, knowledge and commitment you will receive:
1. Competitive starting salary of £70,000 - £75,000.
