The Rowan Schools are situated across three sites and cater for pupils with Educational Health Care Plans.
Rowan Park School is an outstanding Special School, which supports the learning and development of children and young people aged 3 -19 years; Rowan High School is for pupils aged 11-19 years with a diagnosis of Autism and The Rowan Tree caters for Reception and Year 1 pupils’ who have a diagnosis of autism and learning difficulties. Pupil's at The Rowan Tree eventually transition over to Rowan Park School site to continue their educational journey.
The Rowan Schools are part of Mersey View Learning Trust who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its pupils and expects those working at the Trust to share this commitment.
The Trust is required under law and guidance to check the criminal background of all employees. Job Purpose
To teach Art and Design Technology across the age and ability range of Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Sixth Form as applicable. In addition, to deliver and teach additional subjects across the curriculum.
