The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the general maintenance of the property, upkeep of its facilities, and management of the maintenance team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, meeting guest expectations during their stay.
You will allocate responsibilities to the team, complete the daily jobs list, and preventative maintenance schedules with attention to detail and a passion for fixing things.
You must meet time deadlines, liaise with contractors, and take responsibility for health and safety on the property. You should be organized, an excellent communicator, and a hands-on manager with great attention to detail. Experience in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required, and knowledge of electrics and health and safety is beneficial. Computer literacy is essential for compliance and audit aspects of this role.
