Job Responsibilities
* Investigate more complex customer complaints and respond to customer enquiries/complaints in a timely manner. Complete customer self-audit questionnaires.
* Conduct internal and GMP audits in line with requirements.
* Conduct any required technical investigations, using root cause analysis to prevent re-occurrence.
* Contribute to the further development of the Quality Management System and ensure that current documentation and systems are in place.
* Support the issuing of specifications to customer requirements and ensure validity of product.
* Adhere to current legislation regarding food production, representation, and labelling. Advise on any new legislation and keep abreast of scientific and technical developments.
* Ensure traceability and accurate labelling during the process to protect and safeguard Brand Integrity.
* Ensure compliance with customer Code of Practice and relevant welfare schemes.
* Complete Quality KPIs, actively monitor GMP results and QA task completion.
* As part of the food safety team, review the plan as appropriate and monitor/audit compliance. Raise and report any non-compliance directly to the Technical Manager/Technical Director.
