Job Title: Finance Administrator (Bank Reconciliations & AP) Target Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Salary Range: £23,500 - £26,000 Location: Eastleigh, Hybrid - 1 x week min Closing Date for applications: 31st October Finance Administrator: To complete the allocated reconciliation of the technical accounts within Cash & Credit management alongside the management of the AIL bank accounts. As well as providing technical accounting technical support to the wider Financial Operations teams. Main Responsibilities as an Finance Administrator: Perform daily bank reconciliations for allocated Ageas accounts ensuring all unreconciled item / queries are investigated. The software utilised is Aurum. Ensure timely payment of routine monthly payments alongside maintaining associated reconciliations, escalating issues to internal stakeholders where appropriate Support the timely and accurate ingestion of supplier invoices, assisting the business with queries to ensure payment to terms. Support wider Cash Management team where required Ensure effective communication at all levels, including within the Financial Operations management team and peer group. Skills and experience you need as a Finance Administrator : Strong numeric skills and attention to detail to be able to handle large volumes of data and effectively perform accurate accounts reconciliations and allocation of monies. Microsoft Office skills are required, intermediate to higher level excel skills are essential to perform various aspects of the role. Previous experience of working in a finance environment is desirable but not essential. A positive attitude towards flexibility and an openness to change An ability to learn and use a variety of software is key to this role. Previous use of utilised systems is beneficial, currently iSeries, JDE, Aurum, HSBCnet and Blackline.
