Our client is a rapidly growing export wholesale distributor of British food and drink brands to international markets. They have built an extensive product range that includes iconic British brands and emerging names, while also launching several exciting house brands for both UK and international customers.

Ideal Candidate: This role is perfect for an experienced warehouse operative who is ready to take on more responsibility. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the Business Manager, oversee the daily running of the warehouse.
* Manage stock and inventory, ensuring accuracy and leading weekly and periodic stocktakes.
* Collaborate with the supply chain team to understand the logistics of each order.
* Follow procedures for inbound and outbound goods, including loading and unloading vehicles.
* Accurately pick, pack, and label goods for transport.
* Use the internal ERP system to input data accurately.
* Maintain consistent performance while adhering to health and safety standards.
* Take ownership of warehouse equipment and keep the facility clean and organized.
* Assist with final order checks, ensuring all stock sent is correct.
Skills & Experience:
* Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-starter with a drive for continuous improvement and the ability to use initiative.
* High level of attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Adaptability to change.
* Experience in food/FMCG warehousing and distribution is desirable.
* Counterbalance forklift licence is a plus.
