SPECIALTY DOCTOR IN BREAST SERVICES / GENERAL PRACTITIONER WITH EXTENDED ROLE IN BREAST DISEASE MANAGEMENT The East of Scotland Breast Team is seeking a forward-thinking individual to be an integral member of the multidisciplinary breast service team. We provide a specialist breast service on two sites - Ninewells Hospital, Dundee and Perth Royal Infirmary, Perth. The Breast Service is responsible for the management of patients with symptomatic disease and those with asymptomatic disease detected by the East of Scotland Breast Screening service based at Ninewells Hospital. The full-time job plan can be negotiated with the successful candidate, but will include direct clinical contact sessions and SPA/admin sessions. Part-time working may be considered. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, oncologists, histopathologists, radiologists, advanced radiographers, specialist breast care nurses and mammographers, as part of the breast team in the breast unit. They will gain specialist knowledge and skills in breast disease management and undertake independent practice within the service in screening and symptomatic service clinics.
