An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Support Assistant to join the Community Heart Failure Specialist Nursing Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and friendly individual to join the team at Oldmachar Medical Practice, to provide day to day administrative support. This is a part-time post of 22.5 hours per week with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday 09:00–14:00. A main part of this role will be to administratively support the team by managing the booking of appointments, answering telephone queries and typing clinical letters. The successful candidate should enjoy working with people, be extremely organised and work independently with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, experience of using IT systems (Microsoft Office, Excel, TrakCare & DRAGON), ability to prioritise their daily workload to meet service demands and deal with confidential situations in a sensitive approach. Applicants should have good organisational and keyboard skills and be confident in their use of IT systems.
