The HR arm of this global consultancy offers a range of HR products and services to clients, from rolling out HRIS platforms or launching new modules to new and existing clients, reporting and data insights modules, to Learning and Development programs.
Role Overview:
The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying, articulating, and driving innovations in process re-engineering that will enhance the user experience, support HR processes and technology efforts, and deliver value to employees across a host of clients. This role involves coordinating resources, scheduling meetings, tracking project progress, and ensuring that all project activities align with established timelines and goals.
The Business Analyst will also build solid planning and track simple and complex projects both internally and with clients. This might range from tracking the projects for clients or internal projects.
We'd also love someone to own our client portal which houses a lot of client collateral and advice documents, owning permissions and updating information as we evolve.
Responsibilities:
1. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving internal and client-facing processes, coordinating multiple HR consulting projects, and ensuring the client portal is optimized to serve our clients effectively.
2. Analyze, design, and improve internal processes to drive operational efficiency within the consultancy.
3. Evaluate current workflows, identify gaps, and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
4. Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop interactive and effective HR-related workshops.
5. Facilitate the delivery of workshops to internal teams and clients, ensuring engagement and knowledge retention.
6. Drive, collect, and analyze feedback from workshop participants to refine future sessions.
7. Coordinate a variety of HR consulting projects, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are effectively managed.
8. Act as a liaison between internal teams and clients to ensure clear communication and successful project execution.
9. Own the management and continuous improvement of the client portal that houses client data, advice documents, and key resources.
10. Collaborate with client teams to ensure the portal is secure, user-friendly, and updated with relevant and timely information.
11. Monitor portal performance and usage, troubleshooting issues and responding to client inquiries in a timely manner.
12. Serve as the first point of contact for clients regarding portal-related queries or concerns.
13. Provide ongoing support and training to clients on how to use the portal to access documents, data, and resources.
14. Regularly review client feedback on the portal experience and implement improvements as necessary.
15. Maintain and oversee the integrity of client data housed in the portal, ensuring it is up-to-date and secure.
16. Generate reports and analytics on client engagement with portal resources and workshop participation.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the IT industry.
2. Ideally hold a Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis and Agile methodologies.
3. Experience in gathering requirements and creating user stories.
4. Experience and ability to collaborate with a development team.
5. Experience in software testing is a plus.
6. Good analytical and technical skills.
7. Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to reach mutually acceptable solutions.
8. Excellent documentation skills and strong experience in creating reports and presentations.
9. Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Skills:
1. Ability to organize and structure information independently.
2. Conduct in-depth research to support project initiatives, create business documentation, and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making.
3. Ability to navigate a flat organizational structure and organize work independently.
4. Creation of clear diagrams. BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and BPMN 2.0 are essential.
5. Strong experience in the MS Suite (with a high focus on Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint).
6. Experience in using a PM tool is desirable.
7. Interpersonal, consultative, and facilitation skills.
