What you will do:
* Work across all areas of the hospital, including 8 acute care beds, 14 elderly care beds, and a minor injuries room.
* Act as a named nurse, being responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care programmes for patients.
* Deliver patient care in alignment with the current ward philosophy.
* Follow established health and social care policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Collaborate with the senior team and function as the ward co-ordinator under the direction of the ward manager.
* Mentor and supervise junior and unregistered nursing staff, helping them develop professionally.
* Participate actively in the Revalidation process and adhere to the NMC local framework for professional practice.
* Perform nursing procedures according to the Royal Marsden Manual of Clinical Nursing Procedures.
* Support the ward manager and the multidisciplinary team by providing professional advice and guidance.
* The post holder will report to the Ward Manager.
