Working for Lynne Rennie- Smith, People Director, we are looking for a Head of People Services to join our People Team, transferring to Barclays later this year. This is a critical role in the People Team and has a pivotal part to play in our transition into, and colleague experience at Barclays.
What you’ll be doing
1. Lead the development and implementation of a strategy to deliver People Services.Anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, working with both Tesco Group and Barclays on transition and integration.
2. Identifying and implementing change that improves the type and quality of interactions colleagues and managers have with the People team. Deliver projects or workstreams using appropriate and effective change management.
3. Manage a significant operational and diverse area for the organisation including payroll and administration, Colleague Help, People data and MI, Service Management, Reward, People Conduct & Controls and ER & Advisory.
4. Monitoring, reviewing and highlighting any gaps in the performance ofsuppliers to recommend and ensure delivery of improvements by suppliers.
5. Ensuring that the team’s activities comply with relevant external regulatory and/or voluntary codes and with internal policies to minimise risk and protect the reputation of the organisation
We need you to have
6. Previous experience of leading a service delivery/operational team.
7. Previous experience of managing significant/complex change programmes.
And if you have any of these, even better
8. Previous experience in one or more of the following areas:ER, Payroll, Reward, People data & MI, People Operations and People Conduct & Controls.
9. Previous experience of migrating to new systems.
10. Previous experience of managing with Transitional Services Agreements (TSAs).
