Permanent, Full-time
Remote role with a requirement to be in the Bristol office once a month
The Role
The role of the Pricing Engagement Analyst is to serve as a liaison between Bupa’s Support Centre and our practices. They will be subject matter experts on key processes within the team, and will train and guide practice managers on best practices for Pricing. This means ensuring that pricing is effectively implemented, resolving enquiries from practices, and supporting practice managers in putting robust pricing procedures into practice.
The role holder will have a strong focus on ensuring the Pricing team delivers a great service to our practices and will build strong relationships with Practice and Area Managers.
The position will also involve supporting and occasionally leading key pricing initiatives and projects, particularly where these require practice engagement or relate to pricing processes. This includes the development of new tools and performance improvement initiatives. Key to success is ensuring our practice teams receive a seamless service and are well supported in achieving their revenue targets.
What will I be doing?
* Resolve incoming enquiries on Price changes, processes and tools from our Practice Teams. This will also include developing expertise around pricing mechanisms and tools such as payment plans and Dentally.
* Review the pricing performance of practices and support recommendations to the relevant stakeholders as evidenced by analysis and data.
* Build and manage relationships with stakeholders, especially Area and Practice Managers, to inform, train, and educate in all pricing matters and processes. Obtain feedback in order to shape future initiatives.
* Analyse and interpret existing pricing approaches and their effectiveness, in order to support the development of the pricing strategy.
* Conduct additional research where required in order to inform future developments of the pricing strategy.
* Manage business processes to support our practices, the pricing team, and wider commercial team, both as part of BAU and during the annual price review.
* Work closely with Marketing for the development and processing of relevant promotions and ensure their effectiveness.
* Ensure all analysis completed is adequately documented in terms of the methodology applied, data used, and assumptions made, including an awareness of any compliance and governance requirements.
* Support pricing projects and the development of new pricing capability as and when needed.
* Promote and uphold Bupa’s values of brave, caring, and responsible, contributing to a supportive and inclusive work environment.

* Strong problem-solving abilities are crucial, with the ability to understand, contextualise, and come up with real-world pragmatic solutions.
* Proven numerical skills evidenced through previous work experience within analytical, financial, or pricing roles.
