Care Worker – Supported Living (Young Adults) Location: North London – Barnet & Palmers Green Job Type: Full-Time (Permanent) Salary: £25,500 - £26,500 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week (Overtime Available) Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young adults with disabilities or additional support needs? We are currently seeking dedicated Care Workers to join a compassionate team working across supported living services in Barnet and Palmers Green. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to positively impact the lives of individuals aged 18 and above as they transition to independent living. About the Role: As a Care Worker, you will provide tailored support to young adults with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and integrate into their communities. You’ll work within a structured yet person-centred environment, focusing on: Supporting with daily living activities (e.g., cooking, cleaning, budgeting) Promoting independence and building essential life skills Assisting with personal care and medication (where required) Encouraging social inclusion and participation in community-based activities Working closely with families, professionals, and the wider support team Contributing to care plans and progress reports What We’re Offering: £25,500.00 per annum 40 hours per week with overtime available Permanent contract 28 days paid holiday Rolling rota covering days and weekends Genuine career progression opportunities A rewarding role supporting independence and personal growth What We’re Looking For: Experience in supported living or a similar care setting (preferred) A passion for empowering others and promoting independence Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills Flexibility to work a rolling rota, including weekends Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential) Join a team that truly values the people they support and the staff who make it all happen.
