Housing Support Team Leader
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Duration: 3 months ongoing
Location: Bolsover
Rate of Pay: £18 per hour via an umbrella company
Main duties of the role:
1. Oversee a team of Housing Support Workers
2. Work in a floating role attending to clients with a variety of needs to provide expert support
3. Follow and update individual support plans
4. Ensure any maintenance issues are reported and followed up on time, and make sure void properties are ready for new tenants to move into
5. Liaise with a range of internal and external agencies
6. Assist clients with budgeting and accompany them to appointments
7. Uphold confidentiality at all times and comply with GDPR
8. Ensure safeguarding and adhere to health and safety procedures, recording any identified issues correctly
Essential requirements:
1. An Enhanced DBS from within the last year with the Adults and Children’s list checked or willingness to obtain
2. Experience or an interest in working with vulnerable people
3. Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
