Your team: Join the dynamic team behind The Story, the flagship podcast of The Times and The Sunday Times. This team is known for its high-quality journalism and compelling storytelling, and you will report directly to the Executive Producers. Your role: As a Podcast Producer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the content and direction of The Story. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of podcast production, using your creative skills to attract and engage a broad audience. Day to day you will: - Develop, produce, and edit podcast episodes, ensuring they meet the high standards of The Times and The Sunday Times. - Collaborate with journalists, editors, and other team members to create compelling audio content. - Conduct interviews and gather audio materials from various sources. - Work with our social media assistant producer to develop compelling content to promote The Storia via social media, YouTube, and other platforms. What we're looking for from you: - You have strong technical skills in audio production and editing. - You are passionate about news with experience working in a news environment. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Experience with podcast production tools such as Reaper or Adobe Audition. - Proven track record in producing high-quality audio content. - An understanding of narrative form audio with strong storytelling skills and an ear for great audio.
