Job Title: Electrical Project Manager\n\nLocation: Cambridge\n\nSalary: £60,000 - £65,000\n\nBenefits: Car, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, private healthcare, company pension\n\nA national M&E Contractor are looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their expanding team in Cambridge with initial project being based in Lincoln. The company provides M&E services to a wide range of clients and businesses across a multitude of sectors including MOD, HMP, Commercial, Education and Healthcare. These projects are typically valued up to £10M.\n\nAs the Electrical Project Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:\n\n * Ensure the projects are completed according to schedule and budget, undertaking effective planning.\n\n * Manage materials, labour, sub-contractors, installation, procurement and drawing programmes to accord with installation and specification requirements.\n\n * Liaison with clients, supply chain, delivery teams and management.\n\n * Oversee working practices, ensuring compliance with HSE policies with support from H&S Manager.\n\n * Financial management of projects, including procurement and assisting with costings.\n\n * Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.\n\n * Monitor project programme and project planning.\n\n * Conduct site inspections and quality control checks ensuring all works meets industry standards, regulations and client’s specifications.\n\n * Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.\n\nSuccessful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:\n\n * You will have SMSTS, CSCS skills card and relevant industry qualification.\n\n * Proven track record of successfully managing electrical projects up to £10m (M&E).\n\n * Effective planning and project management skills.\n\n * Working for a Building Services Contractor at a similar level.\n\n * Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems and their installation methods.\n\n * Consistently good financial returns on projects, considering all relevant factors.\n\n * Good people management and motivational skills.\n\n * The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.\n\n * The ability to plan, co-ordinate, and prioritise workloads.\n\n * Strong results orientation.\n\nPlease contact Adam Brown on (phone number removed) / (phone number removed) for more information about this role or if you are interested in a new electrical manager opportunity within the Building Services sector (Electrical Site Manager, Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contract Manager)
