EC&I Project Engineers are immediately sought to join a highly successful technology-driven company who are renowned for their innovative approach. The EC&I Project Engineers will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of Health and Safety.
EC&I Project Engineer - The Role:
1. Collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives & deliverables
2. Develop detailed project proposals, including budget estimates and timelines
3. Create comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, milestones & resource requirements
4. Identify & allocate project resources, including personnel, equipment & materials
5. Identify potential project risks, developing robust risk mitigation strategies
6. Review & approve engineering design documents, specifications & technical drawings
7. Provide technical guidance to project teams as needed
EC&I Project Engineer - The Person:
1. An Electrical Engineer/ Electronic Engineer/ Control Systems Engineer/Mechatronics degree OR equivalent experience with a recognised Apprenticeship
2. Demonstrable experience delivering EC&I Projects to a high standard
3. Stakeholder management experience
4. IOSH Managing Safely, ECS H&S card, Asbestos Awareness, First Aid
5. You are likely to have some hands-on design experience electrical control panel design experience
6. Proficiency in project management software i.e. MS Project or Primavera
7. Must have an in-depth knowledge of automation, process control, OT, control panel design & instrumentation principles/practices
8. Excellent time management & organisational skills

This position would lead into a Senior role where you would take charge of larger and more complex projects, assuming greater responsibility for project budgets and client relationships. There would also then be options to develop into a Department Head or Technical Specialist.

Once you are trained, you will split your time between client sites, office, and home working. Sites are generally within 2 hours of the office and there is very minimal working away from home with this position.
