Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and developing strategic initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to sales and an understanding of the competitive landscape to effectively position our offerings.
Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach within the Hospitality Industry.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.
* Create and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies and maximise outreach efforts.
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients.
* Utilise software for tracking leads, managing customer relationships, and reporting on sales activities.
* Monitor industry developments and adjust strategies accordingly to stay ahead of competitors.
* Provide regular updates to senior management on progress towards business development goals.
* Assist Management with RFPs and ensure that hotels are at there best in presentation online and with marketing.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in business development or sales management, within the Hospitality Industry is a requirement.
* Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer behaviour.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
* Proficiency in various software is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong analytical skills with a focus on results-driven outcomes.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and overcoming challenges.
* A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
