The Base Pantry is a food project, operated by the YoMo at the Base. Its purpose is to provide good quality food at low cost to the local community, in helping to alleviate poverty.
The Pantry Officer will be responsible for managing and leading the day-to-day operations at the food pantry. They will report directly to the Project Manager.

* Manage and develop the Youth Health Champions Project and young volunteer program at YoMo, working with NHS Health Promotion Team and developing new relationships with partners to recruit young volunteers.
* Report to funders on outcomes, case studies, and impact; complete all monitoring and evaluation on Upshot.
* Engage young volunteers in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of Youth Health Champions Project and other volunteering opportunities within YoMo.
* Work as part of a team and develop positive trusting relationships with young people.
* Make regular contact with young people to identify, assess, and meet their formal and informal educational needs, and encourage higher self-expectations, standards, and skills.
* Support the personal and social development of young people through creative and interactive programs & one-to-one Personal Development Plans.
* Remote: Home-based in West Central Scotland with travel.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team. We are now accepting applications for our Community and Engagement Team Members - Parenting Focus. This role will be responsible for engaging with parents with experience of care and the people and professionals that are in direct contact with expectant and new parents with care experience.
Role
The Team Member will be responsible for our work in mid Central Scotland supporting parents who have been impacted by care. Our aim is to reach all expectant and new parents with care experience in Scotland and ensure they are aware of what is being offered through The Village and our other Why Not communities. The Team Member will use a variety of approaches, communication methods, and platforms to maximize engagement, including both in-person and digital options. This particular team member role will have a specific geographical focus and lead to developing links and engaging parents in identified locations. The Team Member will work closely with statutory sector and health staff, as well as voluntary sector groups to build knowledge of our work and identify and engage with parents. The Team Member will work closely with the peer mentoring lead, supporting recruitment of peer mentors within the specified area.

Impact Funding Partners works with the third sector, public sector, private companies, and individual donors to create social, environmental, and economic impact.
We develop grant funds with our funding partners and manage them on their behalf. This could be a national fund or one that targets a particular geographic area or group of people. Our expertise covers all elements of fund management from the initial design through to the evaluation of impact.

About the Role:
The Youth Participation Worker will work as part of a small team designing, planning, and delivering the Space Training Academy’s exciting new project – Wellbeing onto Work (WOW).
The WOW project will work with young people aged 16-24 years, supporting the transition between school and employment. The Youth Participation Worker will offer group sessions and 1:1 support to help young people build on their skills and improve their confidence. Sessions may take place at the Broomhouse Hub and in other outreach locations throughout Edinburgh.
Key Tasks in the Role:
* Create promotional material and network locally, recruiting suitable young people onto the program.
* Plan and deliver WOW group sessions.
* Meet with young people on a 1:1 basis to deliver appropriate individual support.
* Track and evaluate the progress of the project to demonstrate impact and inform funder reporting.
* Maintain accurate, detailed records for each young person including attendance and progress.
* Stay abreast of local opportunities for young people, such as community groups, jobs, work placements, further education, and voluntary opportunities.
* Source and commission external trainers/suppliers to deliver sessions where specialized knowledge and/or skills are required.
