About the Role
Our Creative team is looking for a Lead Video Editor with a passion for film to join us at our London HQ. You will be joining an award-winning team to create theatrical trailers, TV spots, and social assets for MUBI film releases. You will be working alongside our in-house designers as well as cross-functional teams to produce world-class creative.
You will focus on:
* Conceptualisation, creative development and execution of trailers and promotional material for MUBI titles and film groups.
* Work to creative briefs and collaborate with our in-house design team whilst being receptive to feedback from stakeholders.
* Manage large-scale creative projects and cross-functional relationships from brainstorm to execution and delivery.
* Help mentor and manage Junior Editors and feedback on their edits.
* Champion innovation - learn, apply and test new creative practices.
What you will bring:
* 8+ years of experience in editorial / post-production with a focus in entertainment. This could be from a studio, agency or freelancing
* Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects
* Experience with production workflows, media management, video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, audio configuration and frame rates
* Ability to self-manage and organise workload around tight deadlines
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback
* Impeccable attention to detail with an interest in the technical aspects of editing, a good eye for composition, and a keen ear for sound design
* A team player– comfortable working independently and collaborating with others
