Company- National Manufacturer and Installation Company Job Title- Lift Engineer Location- London and the South Salary- £35,000 - £45,000 On behalf of our client, we are currently recruitingfor a Lift Engineer to carry out routine servicing of lift equipment, including minor repair work and the routine replacement of components in accordance with approved company procedures (PPE, PDA, Expert etc). Key Duties To rectify and reduce faults on lift equipment in cases of breakdown and check to confirm correct functioning. Checking the lift function as part of a maintenance regime: checks to include speed, motor start/stop, weight, noisetemperature and power supplies using approved company issued tooling and protective equipment. Carry out the routine inspection and adjustment in accordance with approved procedures. Reinstate lift and complete service documentation. Carrying out fault finding and diagnostic procedures using a range of techniques, technical manuals and appropriate test equipment, restoring equipment to service. Competence is required to make effective use of written or graphical information. Employees are required to carry out all works in accordance with the Company’s Quality Corporate policy. Employees are required to attend all relevant training sessions to keep up to date on technical knowledge and skills. All employees are required to work in accordance with the Company’s Safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current UK legal requirements Employees will be required to contribute to the Company safety objectives, where necessary by maintaining/monitoring current safety systems under their direct control and implementing agreed changes (where applicable) to its safety management system. Key Requirements Experience in Lift Servicing/ Maintenance/ Repairs preferred Qualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in Liftmaintenance or equivalent. Basic Electrical and Mechanical knowledge, including Multi-Brand Equipment. Basic problem-solving skills Full UK driving License
