We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Senior Commercial Manager to join our dynamic Area 7 team at our Sandiacre depot in Nottingham on a hybrid basis.
In this role, you will support the Senior Commercial team in the end-to-end commercial process for the Area 7 contract. You will develop client relationships in support of successful account delivery, aiding change and conflict management, and promoting Amey in retaining/winning future works.
This role offers you the unique opportunity to make a positive impact on a £50m contract.
What You’ll Do:
* Ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at project level / work stream
* Update the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans
* Help ensure that internal commercial processes are adhered to across Area 7
* Hold a good understanding of the processes and procedures and assist in their development and improvement
* Be proactive in the management of subcontract accounts
* Accurate valuation of subcontract accounts including processing of payments and payment notices in line with the subcontract conditions and deadlines
* Help to identify and prepare Early Warnings and Compensation Events to client
* Contribute towards effective interaction between the Commercial Team and the operational site teams
* Liaise with the client, client representatives and other third parties on commercial issues, including agreement of variations, claims and additional payments
