ABC Teachers are seeking a 1:1 SEMH LSP Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Stoke on Trent starting as soon as possible. This would be on a fulltime basis. The role itself: You will be working 1:1 with a specific pupil, assisting in classrooms and providing interventions for a specific pupil while de-escalating stressful situations to help the teacher conduct lessons successfully. You must have: Effective behaviour management skills Strong adaptability Great communication skills to be able to cater to the specific child and communicate. A strong passion for learning and showing creativity and helping others. Patience, Resilience and Reliability Strong interpersonal skills to cater to the specific needs of the pupil. Be able to provide 2 solid references covering years’ experience. Hold a DBS registered on the update service or must be able to arrange one.
