The Role
I am recruiting for an ambitious Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join my client, a leading company specializing in structural and architectural steelwork. Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate cost estimates for structural and architectural steelwork projects.
* Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to assess project requirements.
* Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
* Prepare and submit tender bids and proposals in a timely manner.
* Oversee all aspects of project cost management, including valuation of variations and final accounts.
* Negotiate contracts and terms with clients and suppliers to ensure profitability.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service.
* Contribute to the company’s growth by identifying opportunities and supporting business development initiatives.
Requirements
* Proven experience in estimating or quantity surveying within the structural and architectural steelwork industry.
* Strong understanding of steel fabrication and installation processes.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Effective communication and negotiation skills.
* Ambitious and driven, with a desire to progress and contribute to the success of the business.
