An exciting opportunity has arisen here in the Audiology Team at Colchester Primary Care Centre for someone to join our Service as a part time Administrative Assistant.
You will be a self-driven individual with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You will work alongside the Audiologists and Hearing Therapists to provide the best care possible.
• Agreeing and making outpatient follow up appointments- by contacting patients, either by telephone, letter or personally following GP or
staff referral and generate letter on Patient Administration System
• Rearrange clinics and inform patients of changes of appointments.
• Manage patient administration and booking of all outreach clinics.
• Deal with telephone and face-to-face complaints effectively and refer to appropriate individual if necessary.
• Deal with hearing aid repair and battery requests face to face
• Make accurate data entries into Patient Management Systems including registering of patients
• To manage incoming and outgoing mail
• Photocopying and scanning of the department
• Managing the department email accounts.
• To maintain confidentiality at all times
