We have an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Female Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team in Southport, Lancashire. Our client has reduced mobility with pain & shortness of breath, dysphasia, loss of hearing as well as other psychological and cognitive symptoms. Due to this there is a reduced functional capacity with activities and daily living. The successful applicant will need to be have experience within brain injury support & due to the responsibilities surrounding the care, we are only able to consider applicants who have a full UK drivers license as well as access to their own vehicle. Pay Rate: £16.22 per hour Working Hours: Monday (either 5pm – 8pm or 6pm – 9pm) Alternate Saturdays 10am – 4pm Flexibility to pick up other shifts as and when needed Key Responsibilities: Engaging with personalised routines. Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility. Administering medication and monitoring health conditions. Providing emotional support and companionship. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions. Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care. To be able to deal with challenging behaviours. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
