Essential skills and experience required: Be educated to degree level or equivalent experience and have experience of generalist HR in a large and complex organisation Experience within operational HR with a good knowledge of employment law Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a manner which is clear, fluent, persuasive, non-judgemental, and which enhances professional credibility. Ability to develop and deliver training/learning/ coaching interventions to managers on a range of HR-related best practices/subjects. Ability to interpret complex information and formulate policies Able to plan and manage a demanding workload with competing priorities. Ability to develop effective working relationships, and demonstrate professional credibility with colleagues at all levels Ability to assimilate, analyse and interpret information and to summarise key issues clearly and concisely. Excellent IT skills to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint, HR database
