About Our Client
Our client is a small, rapidly-growing manufacturing business. They are recognised for their premium products and have a strong base of corporate clients and a strong pipeline of ongoing business.
Job Description
* Develop the accounting and finance function.
* Develop and implement financial strategies, monitor budgets, and prepare financial reports.
* Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
* Work closely with the executive team to develop strategic financial plans.
* Manage financial risk, budgets, and cashflow forecasts.
* Implement and manage financial systems and software, including Xero.
* Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
* Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Part-Time Financial Controller should have:
* A proven track record in a similar role within the construction/manufacturing industry.
* Demonstrated skills working with contractors.
* Excellent debtors management and invoicing skills.
* A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
* Proficiency in financial software, notably Xero.
* Excellent communication and strategic planning skills.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
