Job Description:
As a Social Worker in the CWD team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of children with varying needs and disabilities.
Your role will involve conducting assessments, creating care plans, and working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure that children and families are supported effectively.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of children with disabilities, providing support, guidance, and advocacy for the children and their families..
2. Work collaboratively with health professionals, educational staff, and other agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to service provision.
3. Ensure the child's voice is heard in all decision-making processes.
4. Attend and contribute to meetings such as Child in Need reviews, safeguarding conferences, and multi-agency meetings.
Qualifications:
5. Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
6. Experience working with children with disabilities or in a similar role.
7. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act and safeguarding procedures.
8. Ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment and under pressure.
