As part of Lancashire Football Association’s drive and commitment to improve facilities for our football family and secure much needed investment, we are seeking a dedicated, highly motivated and inspiring team member to join the Facilities and Investment Team.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear passion to improve and support communities across Lancashire, driving sustainable facilities in the area, and will have an in depth understanding of football development at grassroots level and the role that quality facilities play in the community.
There is great potential for investment in the local area, currently, and local knowledge would be advantageous to the successful applicant, to help maximise opportunities identified in Playing Pitch Strategies and Local Football Facilities Plans. Working within a busy, high performing team, excellent communication and strong business administration and organisation skills are also essential.
This is a full-time role, 35 hours a week, typically Monday to Friday but also with some weekend commitments. Although based at Lancashire FA, there will be opportunities to work remotely, and the role will also require some travel across the Lancashire area.
If you have the passion, desire and drive to realise positive community impacts, using the power of football, and want to create better, brighter facilities throughout our fantastic and diverse county, then we very much want to hear from you.
Lancashire FA very much welcomes applications from all community members to ensure our organisation is as representative of Lancashire's diverse football community as possible. As part of our open and transparent recruitment process, all applications will be anonymised and then assessed on merit for interview short-listing purposes.
In addition, and to help us with our efforts to understand who is applying for roles at Lancashire FA, from an equality progress perspective, we would be grateful if, when you apply, you would also complete our confidential demographic data information form. This is entirely unrelated to your main application, is anonymous and non-mandatory, and is purely used by Lancashire FA for equality monitoring purposes. We are very grateful for all responses received. You can access this form here: bit.ly/3nWrYhy
The closing date for applications is 26th January 2025 and interviews will take place in February with a start date as soon as possible.
We look forward to receiving your application.
