Product Engineer Role Overview

* £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits package.

We design and manufacture high-performance sensors for space science, earth observation, astronomy, and high-energy physics applications. Our state-of-the-art facilities in Chelmsford enable us to develop and fabricate cutting-edge sensors, post-process, package, and test them.

Job Responsibilities

The successful Product Engineer will be responsible for supporting the product lifecycle of our standard production products, maintaining product quality, and providing engineering support for operations.

* Support new product introduction and standardization through to discontinuation.
* Create and maintain datasheets and test sheets.
* Classify export products.
* Act as the 'Voice of Customer' for product quality.
* Support quality investigations (NRB, RCCA, 8D).
* Process customer returns.
* Investigate yield issues.
* Lead non-conformance engineering reviews.

* A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Engineering role.
* Strong analysis skills.
* Detailed attention to quality and a quality mindset.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Familiarity with SAP would be beneficial.
