Training Support Officer - Operational Modernisation
Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster.
Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver “better trained sailors to the front line faster”.
You will be responsible for creating and updating information within current systems, to ensure that the delivery of courses and associated resource requirements are in line with Company standards and contractual requirements.
This is a Fixed Term Contract position until 31st March 2027.
Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
* Creating and updating course templates in TAFMIS applications
* Scheduling updated course templates within TAFMIS
* Timetable course templates in TAFMIS to meet the requirements
* Allocating resources and venues for the required scheduled training courses
* Working collaboratively and engaging with other training support departments and Training Groups
* Liaising with relevant project teams as and when required
What we’re looking for:
* Flexible to travel
* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with significant amounts of change.
* Military experience would be useful, but not essential
* Ability to work within a team as well as independently
About Project Selborne:
Project Selborne is a £1 billion, 12-year contract which commenced operations on 1 April 2021. It is a strategic partnership between Team Fisher (a consortium of partners, led by Capita) and the Royal Navy, to transform 80% of shore-based training for sailors, submariners and marines.
