Monarch Education are working with a Primary School in Swindon who are looking for a full time Reception Teacher to start in January 2025. This role will be long term, until the end of the academic year. The class consists of 25 children, with 2 full time Teaching Assistants and 2 children in the class on an EHCP plan. This school is part of a large Multi Academy Trust in Swindon. It is a 'good' school and has a friendly and dynamic leadership team that put their pupils and staff at the forefront of what they do. The successful member of staff will be accountable for the standards of teaching and learning and pupil progress and have recent teaching experience in EYFS. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Actively support the vision, ethos and policies of the school and promote high levels of achievement Providing a stimulating learning environment Understanding and responding to the physical, emotional and/or behavioural needs of the pupils Encouraging participation and independence Promoting and reinforcing school policies Planning and co-ordinating learning of the class both indoors and outdoors The school welcome applications from ECT's, as well as Experienced Teachers.
