Power Consultant
Location: Leeds or Glasgow
Full-time or Part-time
Schneider Electric is looking for an experienced Power Consultant to join our team, covering the North of England and Scotland. This role offers the opportunity to work with a market leader in energy management and automation, delivering high-quality projects and solutions for our clients.
What You’ll Do:
* Deliver chargeable design solutions and power system studies (e.g., load flow, protection coordination, harmonics).
* Analyze customer requirements and provide accurate, profitable quotations.
* Audit electrical networks, providing detailed findings and recommendations.
* Develop functional design specifications and engineering solutions tailored to client needs.
* Offer technical advice on equipment selection and usage.
* Collaborate with sales, tendering, and project execution teams.
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in design/protection/power systems engineering.
* Proficient in power system diagnostic tools (ETAP, ERACS, PSCAD, etc.).
* Strong communication skills and customer focus.
* Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel.
* Desirable: Chartered Engineer status or membership of a relevant institution.
