Ardeta Search is partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed distribution business based in Northampton. With ambitious growth plans and a focus on operational excellence, they are seeking a commercially astute FP&A Manager to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction while working in a high-growth, results-driven environment.
The Role
As FP&A Manager, you will be a critical business partner, responsible for providing insightful financial analysis and reporting to drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior leadership, including the CFO and key stakeholders, to enhance financial performance and support the company’s growth agenda.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
* Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives.
* Develop and maintain financial models to assess business performance and opportunities.
* Business partner with operational teams, delivering data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
* Support M&A activity, including due diligence and integration analysis.
* Prepare and present financial reports and KPIs to the executive team and investors.
* Drive continuous improvements in reporting, processes, and systems.
* Work closely with private equity stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with investor expectations.
Key Requirements
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong FP&A experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Prior experience in a private equity-backed business, distribution, or related sector is advantageous.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* High proficiency in financial modelling and Excel; experience with ERP systems is beneficial.
* A proactive, commercially minded approach with a passion for driving business performance.
