Teaching Assistant in Denton, Tameside (M34)
Are you an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant seeking a new and exciting role within a vibrant primary school? If so, Monarch Education want to hear from you today! We are recruiting on behalf of a client school in the Denton area of Tameside (M34) for a TA to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2025.
£447-£530 per week
8:30am-3:30pm
Full-time, temporary role
To be considered, applicants must have recent and relevant experience working within an education or childcare setting, they must be committed to achieving the best learning outcomes for all children and above all, they must be passionate about creating a safe and inclusive learning environment. Experience of supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs is preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
Key Responsibilities Include
1. Leading 1:1 and small group sessions for children who require extra support
2. Managing behaviour within class
3. Ensuring children understand their work and are on task
4. Liaising with parents, staff and the wider school community
5. Preparing learning resources and materials
6. Creating engaging displays within the classroom
7. Supporting children with Special Educational Needs
