We are currently recruiting for a Housing Services Manager to join the team of a well-established housing organisation on an interim basis, offering hybrid working, experience in a reputable company, and the opportunity to create a positive impact.
Location: Hartlepool
Schedule: Monday to Friday / 9-5
Duration: Interim - until March 2025
Salary: £29-32ph via umbrella
Responsibilities:
1. Support the Director in implementing the vision, strategic and core values of the division.
2. Provide strategic oversight and provision of all service areas.
3. Oversee and lead a valued, confident, developed, empowered, and innovative workforce.
4. Seek out innovative ways of integrating services within the division to achieve efficiencies and improve quality of service delivery.
5. Develop, secure, and maintain effective partnerships that support both the Division and the wider council's work.
6. Ensure the provision and commissioning of safe, effective, and high-quality services that are responsive to local need and compliant with statutory duties.
7. Ensure employees feel valued and understand their role in achieving the Council's vision and objectives in a supportive and learning environment.
8. Work with and influence relevant national and regional organisations, partners, and stakeholders in a spirit of partnership and collaboration.
Requirements:
1. Member of the CIH or other relevant professional body.
2. Experience of effectively leading and motivating teams and individuals to achieve high levels of performance.
3. Detailed knowledge of legislation and best practice in social housing.
4. Able to foster and maintain positive working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
