Practice Delivery Lead - Glenridding Health Centre
At Glenridding Health Centre, we are seeking a Practice Delivery Lead who is reliable with an abundance of enthusiasm to join our well-established team. Previous management/primary care experience, a willingness to learn, and the ability to prioritise are all essential to this role.
You will be a valuable member of our amazing team and help us provide patients with outstanding care. We are seeking a like-minded individual to join our team as we take great pride in being attentive, understanding, and doing our absolute best to meet the needs of our patients and local community. We are a small and flexible team, working within a small, welcoming community in a CQC Outstanding practice.
22.5 hours per week, with specific days to be agreed. Hours are to be between 08:30 - 18:30, Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job
The Practice Delivery Lead is responsible for the high-quality delivery of the services in the practice, ensuring the delivery of optimum care to the patient population.
We require a self-motivated, disciplined individual who will take ownership of the efficient day-to-day running of the practice and work as the lead member of the practice team. The post holder will offer strong leadership, acting on practice and business opportunities.

Communicating and Working with Others
The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring that all methods of communication at the practice operate effectively to the benefit of patients and staff.
People Management
Responsibility for ensuring that teams are led, and work effectively, that work is appropriately delegated and results delivered, and that HR processes are applied appropriately and in line with current legislation.
Access to Services
Responsibility for ensuring that patients are able to access the services of Glenridding Health Centre in accordance with agreed standards.
Operations
Be responsible for organising and keeping up-to-date a manual of practice protocols, smooth running of systems with necessary improvement recommendations made, stock control, maintaining registration policies, and organising the annual patient survey.
IT and information
Responsibility for ensuring that the practice's IT resources (hardware, software, and data) are effectively managed and maintained to protect the integrity of patient records and other records, ensuring that resources are used to enhance patient care.
Practice Contracts
Project manage the targets associated with APMS contract, ensure that all relevant paperwork concerning enhanced services is returned in a timely manner, use Open Exeter/CQRS to monitor performance in Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) to ensure practice meets targets and take remedial action where necessary, support the Head of Primary Care in liaising with the Eden Primary Care Network and aiding in the achievement of any performance indicators.
Managing Risk
Responsibility for ensuring that potential risks to the practice, including those concerning the health and safety of individuals, are identified, addressed, and minimised in line with relevant legislation and best practice. Working with the Head of Operations and CHoCS Health & Safety Advisers.
Primary Care Network
Ensuring that the practice team understands the PCN vision aims and objectives, develops services, and delivers agreed objectives, supporting the additional roles reimbursement scheme (ARRS) to ensure additional staff are supported and developed within the PCN and that this resource is equitably shared between participating practices and optimally utilised by the team at Glenridding Health Centre.
