If so, Expleo has a fantastic opportunity for you We are hiring on behalf of our automotive-focused client located in Staffordshire for the position of Vehicle Risk and Reliability Engineer. This contract role is flexible and can be offered inside or outside IR35, with an initial duration of 3-6 months. The successful candidate will join a dedicated and passionate team focused on ensuring the reliability and safety of vehicle systems by conducting comprehensive risk assessments, FMEA analyses, and implementing robust problem-solving strategies. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed FMEA analyses on vehicle systems and components to identify potential failure modes, their causes, and effects. Utilise the 8D problem-solving methodology to identify, analyse, and resolve system issues. Lead and facilitate FMEA workshops and meetings. Document and maintain FMEA reports, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information. Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams in identifying and resolving system issues. Continuously monitor and review FMEA processes, staying updated with the latest advancements in FMEA methodologies to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Required Background, Skills, and Experience: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in conducting FMEA analyses and risk assessments within the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components. Experience with 8D problem-solving methodology and FMEA software tools and methodologies.
