We’re offering an exciting fixed-term opportunity as a Senior Commissioner in the Adult Social Care Commissioning Team with a responsibility for Market Development and Support. You will lead a team of skilled Market Support and Development professionals across the full range of market providers within the Adult Social Care portfolio.
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated individual who can create new, innovative approaches and engage with a multiplicity of stakeholders at all levels across the sector, enabling us to deliver successful solutions that support the Provider Market in delivering care and support in line with the Adult Social Care Strategy (Making a Difference Every Day) and the broader Health and Care system. You will be part of a committed team of leaders, driving improvement in all that we do.
The Person
Leadership, adaptability, confidence, and a commitment to partnership are essential skills for the role. You will need to be brave, innovative, collaborative, and committed to using your strong commissioning skills to drive real change and impact for the people of Kent.
You must demonstrate good strategic thinking and have the ability to communicate effectively to challenge, influence, and manage a complex range of internal and external stakeholders while developing and leading your team to succeed.
