In this permanent role, as well as maintaining the building fabric and services across a diverse range of leisure facilities, you will be responsible for ensuring that they are also always fully compliant with all statutory and contractual requirements. Key responsibilities: Leading, maintaining, and implementing their Energy Management System to drive continuous improvement and reduction in energy consumption and carbon emissions Managing energy data through Automatic Monitoring & Targeting and energy bureau platforms, supporting our ISO 50001:2018 certification and reporting on targets Managing and developing a team of technicians and supervisors Reporting on expenditure and managing a budget Providing diverse professional services to maintain statutory and contract compliance across our facilities Consistently reviewing utility data and analysis to efficiently and effectively reduce energy consumption Supporting capital projects and work directly with their operational teams to deliver effective energy management Experience and qualifications required: Thorough and in-depth knowledge of health, safety, and welfare procedures, as well as buildings-related statutory regulations and approved codes of practice Knowledge of quality procedures Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in the use of computer-aided facility management systems Experience in energy management with an understanding of ISO5001, preferably in the Leisure sector or a similar industry Experience in a similar role at management level is essential along with proven experience in developing teams.
