What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an Science Teacher, a role that is open to candidates at all levels of experience. For those with the appropriate experience and expertise, there is also the opportunity to take on the additional responsibility of a Lead Practitioner role, which would include a TLR2 allowance. This provides a fantastic chance for the right candidate to further their career while contributing significantly to the development of our Science department.
Our large successful department has a good balance of staff experience and knowledge and the team is supported by a group of 4 technicians. All staff are dedicated and enthusiastic, willing to share expertise and help each other with development opportunities. Our friendly nature and supportive culture within the Trust ensures a collaborative approach, not only within Secondary education, but also in supporting our Primary School colleagues.
All staff teach across the age ability range, and within their specialism at KS5.
Warlingham School & Sixth Form College has excellent facilities, comprising of 10 well equipped classrooms, two preparation areas and a large department office.
