This school is seeking a confident, skilled and enthusiastic High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a friendly and inclusive team. Duties as an HLTA:
* Deliver high-quality learning activities to individuals, groups, or whole classes under the guidance of a teacher
* Provide PPA cover and short-term class cover when needed
* Work collaboratively with teachers to plan, prepare and evaluate lessons
* Support the implementation of individual support plans and targeted interventions
* Promote positive behaviour and support the emotional wellbeing of pupils
* Contribute to the assessment of pupils’ progress through observations and feedback
* Lead or support the delivery of specific subjects or themed projects
* Provide guidance and mentoring to other support staff as appropriate
Ideal HLTA:
* Holds HLTA status (or equivalent qualification/experience)
* Has strong literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills
* Demonstrates excellent communication, classroom management, and organisation
* Is flexible, resilient, and able to work independently and as part of a team as an HLTA.
* Has experience delivering lessons and supporting pupils across the primary phase
* Is passionate about inclusive education and helping children to achieve their best
* Understands safeguarding responsibilities and the importance of pupil wellbeing
