Could you be the full-time Project Supply Chain Leader, to join our team in Plymouth and be a key member of the Supply Chain Team based at Laira depot, to lead the establishment and continued development of standard process implementation? Your future role Take on a new challenge in Plymouth and apply your Project Supply Chain Leading expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Platform Materials Manager and work alongside a dedicated and passionate Services team in Alstom UK&I. Day-to-day, you’ll be involved in developing and implementing standard processes at Laira Depot in line with the Platform. We’ll look to you to perform the following: Day to day management of the Supply Chain depot Team. Lead Team to maintain material availability to deliver all material requirements. Control of the project material spend & BTG. Drive unplanned material costs down through engagement of the allocated Functions and Suppliers Material Cost Variance Analysis and reporting using the Material TAC (total at completion) model and associated KPI's and reports. Manage the development & maintenance of an accurate SAP CBOM (Costed Bill of Materials) (standard format) to drive material forecasting, planning. Optimise inventory levels ensuring availability. Responsibility for the safe storage of materials and consumables for the Soho Depot. Implementation of logistics management processes to secure the supply base. Ensure that Perpetual Inventory policies and procedures are in place and adhered to. Adhere to the Platform warehousing strategy for the control of materials on sites and external facilities. Develop appropriate KPIs to measure performance to drive culture and behaviour. Support strategic locations to enable all fleets to be furnished with their requirements. Establish and implement Bogie & Wheelset storage solution. Employ principles of lineside materials and JIT (just in time)/delivery. Establish KPI to monitor the management of Inventory settings and parameters. Using the TAC analysis model ensure a clear and transparent governance process is in place to identify potential project over or underspends. Ensure inventory targets are achieved. Continuously build organisational capability using all available HR processes, procedures and tools including: Selection and Recruitment, Performance Management, Development Plans, Talent Management, Succession Planning and Training, Effective PMP (People Management Process) delivery management.
