Job Title:Crime Incident Management Unit Officer : HC620518 : Multiple positions
Location:Mottisfont Court, Winchester
Salary:Scale 4/5, GBP 26, : GBP 31, plus shift allowance (14) and weekend working allowances (Approximately GBP 3,900 pa)
Hours:Full:time(The core hours of this team are 0700 : 2200 hours 7 days a week 365 days a year including public holidays and an appropriate shift pattern is followed by staff, working an average of 37 hours per week).Part:time hours can be considered after 26 weeks of employment
Following the initial training periodthe role can be considered as 'hybrid' with an expectation, on average, to work 1:2 days from home per week subject to the volume of work and any unforeseen circumstances.

The successful candidate will become part of a busy energetic team and gain an insight into policing that many people will never be exposed to and will beplaying a pivotal role providing direct support to police officers and staff identifying crimes and ensuring that they are accurately recorded and reviewed in compliance with Home Office guidance.
You will communicate directly with frontline Police Officers and Police Staff ensuring that the crimes they are dealing with are accurately recorded. This will ensure that the Force has accurate data upon which they can assess crime patterns and plan demand so that victims,who are at the heart of what we do, receive the service they rightly deserve.

Essential Qualifications
Educated to QCF Level2 (3:5 passes including English and Maths) OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
Essential Experience
To be computer literate and a competent keyboard user
To have used and maintained complex record keeping systems.
