Our client, a leading electric and hydrogen bus company is currently looking to hire a Regulations Manager. The successful candidate will manage the team responsible for the management of mandatory (global regulations) and non-mandatory (customer driven) requirements associated with any of the products(s) produced by the Company for both national and international markets. The Regulations Manager will: Validate the impact of regulations associated with the design, manufacture and use of buses in any country in which the Company seek business opportunities. Produce and collate reports and documentation. Liaise with necessary departments, internal or external, to help resolve any regulatory queries, as applicable. Obtain regulatory documentation for any country in which the Company target vehicle placement. Undertake relevant training associated with the effective operation of the post. Review vehicle design and specification to ensure previously granted approvals remain valid. Ensure work is completed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard. The Regulations Manager will have: Beng in Engineering. Experience of managing projects and people. 5 years proven experience in a homologation/compliance/quality-based role within an engineering and manufacturing environment. Ability to understand technical drawings/models. Strong Communication Skills, both verbal and written are essential. Competent in MS Office Applications, including MS Word and Excel. Pro-active approach, self-driven, highly organised and meticulous. Experience of interpreting UNECE, EU and global regulations would be desirable.
